St George, QLD — Just in time for the warmer months, the Merino Motor Inn has given its pool area a fresh new look, with a complete resurfacing designed to enhance comfort, safety, and style for guests.

Owners Jono and Tam say the upgrade is part of their ongoing commitment to improving facilities at the much-loved St George accommodation.

“The pool is such an important part of the Merino experience,” Tam said. “Whether guests are cooling off after a long drive or relaxing with the family, we wanted to make sure the area looks fantastic and feels great underfoot.”

The new surfacing not only modernises the pool’s appearance but also improves durability and slip resistance, making it safer for swimmers of all ages. The refreshed finish complements the inn’s landscaped surrounds, creating a welcoming space for guests to enjoy throughout the day.

Jono says the timing couldn’t be better. “We’re heading into prime swimming season, and the pool is looking better than ever. It’s the perfect place for guests to relax, recharge, and beat the St George heat.”

The pool upgrade follows several recent improvements at the Merino Motor Inn, including luxurious pillow-top beds, super-fast Wi-Fi, and huge OLED “Safe Casting” TVs, as Jono and Tam continue their mission to offer top-quality comfort with a friendly, country touch.
