Merino Motor Inn Installs Huge OLED ‘Safe Casting’ TVs for Next-Level Entertainment

St George, QLD — Guests at the Merino Motor Inn can now enjoy big-screen entertainment like never before, thanks to the installation of brand-new, huge OLED “Safe Casting” TVs in every room.
The upgrade is part of owners Jono and Tam’s mission to bring modern, high-quality amenities to the popular St George accommodation, while still keeping the warm, country charm it’s known for.
“These new OLED TVs offer stunning picture quality — deep blacks, vibrant colours, and crystal-clear detail,” Tam said. “But what really makes them special is the Safe Casting feature. Guests can securely stream their own Netflix, YouTube, or other services straight from their phone or device, without logging in or leaving any personal information behind.”
The Safe Casting system ensures guests can watch exactly what they want — from the latest blockbuster movies to their favourite series or sports — in complete privacy. The TVs are large enough to give a true cinema feel, making them perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Balonne Shire or travelling the outback roads.
Jono says the feedback from early guests has been fantastic. “We’ve had people blown away by how good the picture looks, and they love that they can instantly connect without fiddling with settings or passwords.”
The OLED TV installation follows other recent upgrades at the Merino, including luxurious pillow-top beds and super-fast Wi-Fi, cementing the inn as one of the most comfortable and connected places to stay in the region.
