St George, QLD — Guests at the Merino Motor Inn can now enjoy faster, more efficient laundry facilities thanks to the installation of a brand-new commercial-grade Speed Queen washer and dryer.
Owners Jono and Tam say the upgrade is part of their ongoing effort to enhance comfort and convenience for travellers staying at the popular St George accommodation.
“Whether you’re on the road for a few days or a few weeks, having reliable laundry facilities can make a huge difference,” Tam said. “The new Speed Queen machines are designed for heavy use, so guests can wash and dry clothes quickly and get back to enjoying their trip.”
Known for their durability and speed, Speed Queen machines are trusted by hotels, laundromats, and resorts worldwide. The upgrade means guests can expect shorter wash and dry times, larger load capacity, and professional-grade cleaning results.
Jono says the decision to invest in top-tier laundry equipment was simple. “We want our guests to feel at home, and part of that is having the little conveniences sorted. Now they can get their washing done without any fuss — perfect for families, long-haul travellers, and workers on extended stays.”
The addition of the Speed Queen washer and dryer follows other recent improvements at the Merino Motor Inn, including super-fast Wi-Fi, luxurious pillow-top beds, a resurfaced pool, and huge OLED “Safe Casting” TVs.
