St George, QLD — Guests at the Merino Motor Inn are now sleeping in style, with the popular St George accommodation upgrading all its rooms to feature brand-new, luxurious pillow-top beds.
The investment is part of the inn’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional comfort and hospitality for travellers passing through the Balonne Shire. Owners Jono and Tam, who recently took the reins of the business, say the upgrade is all about giving guests a better night’s rest.
“After a long day on the road, there’s nothing better than sinking into a bed that feels like a cloud,” Tam said. “We want our guests to wake up refreshed and ready to explore everything St George has to offer.”
The pillow-top mattresses are designed to combine plush cushioning with firm support, catering to both leisure travellers seeking relaxation and business guests needing restorative sleep between busy days.
Jono says the feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. “We’ve already had guests tell us it’s the best sleep they’ve had in years. That’s exactly what we want — to make every stay memorable for the right reasons.”
The Merino Motor Inn’s upgrade is just the beginning, with more improvements planned in the coming months as part of Jono and Tam’s vision to blend modern comforts with the property’s welcoming country charm.
