We stayed here for one night while road tripping in Queensland. The motel was quiet despite its location on the highway.
Good sized room with a comfortable bed. New owners are putting effort into improving the accommodation. I would stay again if I ever find myself in this part of the world.

One of the best motels I have stayed at across northern NSW and Qld. Large rooms, spotlessly clean, top quality bed linen and furnishings, and at last a decent sized TV in a terrific location in the lovely town of St George.

Probably one of the best motel beds I’ve ever slept in. Walking distance to hotels, this is the pick of St George for accommodation. Very nice staff and secure off road parking in front of your room. Shower is fantastic too, with good water pressure

It was great to stay at the Merino and it was the best accommodation we had on or round trip thru Roma, Emerald, Longreach and smaller places.

The rooms are very spacious, very clean, presented welland the amenities such as laundry, pool and outside seating are great. Importantly for me it was easy to get ABC live tv which was not possible or too difficult to find at everywhere else we stayed. And the only place I have ever stayed that provides fresh milk!

We enjoyed our stay and cannot suggest any improvements.

What a lovely stay.I used to stay next door at the Riverland but now I stay here because it is a welcoming place and hosts Jono and Tam are just lovely. The rooms are well appointed and the AC was already on when I arrived. Had a beautiful meal at the restaurant bravo to you all.

Very clean and well located motor inn. The bed was so comfortable and the room nice and quiet. Just what we needed after a day of travelling. We loved the on-site restaurant too, great cook!

Clean and quiet rooms
Our family stayed in St George for one night. We booked a family room which was clean and tidy. The booking and check in process was simple and the owner was polite and helpful. The motel was fully booked due to a number of functions in town and we found that the room was quiet and we didn’t notice the comings and going’s of other guests. We will defiantly stay again next time we are in St George.
